FAQ

What kind of services do you provide?

We refer companion services (no hands on), non-medical (hands on) and skilled services designed to assist elders in the activities they need to do to remain comfortable at home with safety and dignity. The tasks range from bathing, dressing and light housekeeping to medication and fluid reminders, fall prevention and running errands.

What does ADL mean?

ADL stands for activities of daily living, which includes bathing, dressing, ambulating, transferring, feeding and continence. Memory assistance and medication assistance are included.

What type of insurances and payment do you accept?

We take most Long Term Care Insurances, private insurances and private pay. We can also help you file paperwork for services, which isn’t offered with most of our competitors. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover card.

Will you help me with my long term care insurance paperwork?

Yes. Kelly’s Angels helps with all the paperwork and will send it in for you. We have the experience to be able to question the insurance companies about ALL the benefits written within the policy that you may not remember or even know about.

Do you provide additional services at assisted living facilities or nursing homes?

Yes. People sometimes discover that the assistance provided in an assisted living facility or nursing home is not enough to enable them to remain independent. In these cases, Kelly’s Angels provides a person to make this possible. In Florida, you are allowed to hire private help in an assisted living facility – or nursing home for that matter.

How quickly can services be provided?

Generally services can be provided within a 24-hour period and often the same day.

Can I change the schedule if I have appointments?

Changes are easily accomplished with as little as a day notice. Our philosophy is to make the schedule work for the family, not the agency. You come first. Your needs…Your requests…Your schedule. We will do everything possible to make sure the schedule you want is the schedule you get.
